We pride ourselves on providing a Credit service to the Not At Fault party in a Motor Vehicle incident. We have no upfront charges and back this up by taking no financial information or credit card details from the customer.
Our goal at 3rd Party Rentals is to work closely with the Repairer of your choice to assure that your requirements are taken care of to the best of our ability. We will provide our service to you in the most stress-free way possible.
If you are the “Not At Fault” party in a motor vehicle incident you have the freedom of choosing your own repairer and accepting an accident replacement vehicle with all charges being directed to the “At Fault” party insurer.

As the renter of an accident replacement vehicle you authorise us to recover the hire vehicle charges by doing all things necessary, including appointing a recovery agent or law firm of our choice.
You will not be liable for an hire car costs if the incident was not your fault, but you may be liable for the hire car costs (and any associated legal/recovery costs) if, i. You are found to have caused the incident. ii. You do not have a valid driver’s licence. iii. Our team finds that you have provided false or misleading information. iv. You have not fully cooperated in the recovery process.
Our vehicles are maintained as frequently as possible using quality products by quality mechanics.
We provide flexible delivery and collection services to suit your needs.
Our vehicles come with a limited excess of $800 for standard vehicles and $1,200 for commercial and prestige.
Once your vehicle is repaired or you are paid for a total loss you must notify 3rd Party Rentals to organise the collection of the vehicle provided.
Upon return of the vehicle, an invoice will be produced with comparative market rates of all local providers under the name of the renter.
The hire car invoice will be sent to the “At Fault” party insurer with a request for payment.
If the “At Fault” party’s insurer does not meet our demands, a law firm of our choice will appointed to recover all associated costs made out to the renter. In this case the renter will be contacted and asked to assist in the matter.
As the Not At-Fault party, you would not be liable for covering any of our hire costs as long as you have provided the correct information to our team and followed all terms and conditions listed on our paperwork when accepting possession of the replacement vehicle.
At times, the At-Fault party insurer may make it difficult to claim charges. If we request your assistance this may come in the form of vehicle registration documents, licence copies, or in some cases appearing in a court setting, undertaking legal proceedings in the name of the renter against the third party.
As long as you fulfill all terms and conditions set out by our team, you will not be liable for the rental costs or legal/recovery fees involved in the process.
3RD Party Rentals is an independent accident replacement vehicle company that acts on the request of the Not At-fault party. We have no relationships with any insurance providers within Australia.
You can utilise the replacement vehicle provided by our team for either the duration of the repairs to your vehicle or until you have received payment for the total loss of your vehicle.
You are entitled to a vehicle that is considered “like for like”, meaning that you would be able to accept a vehicle of a similar size with the closest features and functions of your own.
